Hall of Fame inductee Wendell Scott finished 4th, one of the last of his 20 career Top Fives. Henley Gray picked up his second top-five finish with a 5th. The race, which saw Jim Paschal win from the pole, leading 308 of the 400 laps, saw several other owner-drivers also turn in strong runs. Driving a 1964 Ford, McDuffie started 29th in the 37-car field and drove all the way to 7th at the finish. McDuffie’s first North Wilkesboro start on Apwas also his first of eight top-ten finishes at the track. 36 times, that drive was followed by another 400 laps on Sunday in the twice-yearly events on the 0.625-mile oval. Second to Rockingham, the North Wilkesboro Speedway was one of McDuffie’s shortest drives, just over two hours north-west of Sanford. "Old Blue" brings #70 to North Wilkesboro for the final time, Foyt ended up starting the race in yet another driver's car - Eddie Bierschwale's #23 Oldsmobile - sponsored by, of all things, SplitFire Spark Plugs. In 1992, he wrecked two cars - both his primary Copenhagen Oldsmobile and then, in the Twin 125s, a backup car provided by Richard Jackson's Skoal Classic team. Perhaps for this reason, the results cited it simply as “spark plug.”įive years later, Foyt would have even more difficulty during SpeedWeeks. In a garage interview with CBS’ Mike Joy, Foyt blamed his crew, saying someone on the team may have left a spark plug wire on the headers, causing the failure. He took last from Rusty Wallace, who after his own 10 laps burned a piston on his Kodiak Pontiac. After going back onto the track, Foyt soon called it a day. Right after Economaki's segment, Foyt missed pit road twice, then came in with a dropped cylinder, the car trailing smoke. Curiously, the original black-and-orange scheme would make an appearance in the race – the scheme was used on Oldsmobile’s “cut-away car” Chris Economaki featured early in the broadcast. A non-conforming “1” was added to the big red “4” on each door while the roof number was replaced completely by Foyt's white "14". The yellow Kodak Film Oldsmobile had the sponsors removed in place of Foyt’s Copenhagen and Gilmore brands. He did so in a backup Oldsmobile from Morgan-McClure Motorsports. While both Ellis and Jim Sauter, also involved in the accident, missed the 500 field, Foyt squeezed into the 41st spot in the 42-car field. Foyt.įoyt had a disastrous SpeedWeeks in ’87, having destroyed his #14 Copenhagen Oldsmobile in a brutal Lap 18 crash in Twin 125 Race 1 that saw Tommy Ellis barrel-roll on the apron of Turn 3. It’s perhaps surprising, then, that the only time this reason left a NASCAR driver last came on February 15, 1987, during the Daytona 500, and ended the day for none other than A.J. When looking over the LASTCAR Reason Out Rankings and seeing “spark plug” come up, you may thing it was from NASCAR’s early seasons, where teams didn’t have enough equipment at the track to make such a simple fix. Entry lists for Texas, as well as LASTCAR’s full weekend preview and #JD70 features, will be available next week. Nothing occurs without Rosie knowing about it first. Philadelphia native, Quakertown-raised and current denizen of Harleysville, Rosie is the “go-to girl” overseeing all office operations at Heritage Dental. For more information, call 21 or visit or /DrBethSkovron. As her practice’s success and growth attests, more patients are opening their hearts, minds and mouths to the Heritage Dental experience. Skovron has challenged the perception that a visit to the dentist has to be cold and clinical to deliver excellent care. Also in the works is a Zen Room replete with more massage chairs, an expanded aromatherapy program and additional dental treatment rooms to accommodate new specialists. The office will gain an additional one-third of square footage and will nearly double in space. To meet the needs of its booming practice, Heritage Dental will celebrate a grand opening in April as it expands into a larger space and offers new amenities. With a staff that takes a whole-body/whole-mind approach and has advanced technologies at their fingertips, with the knowledge to properly execute targeted procedures, it is no wonder Heritage Dental is growing. Then we also have this holistic zen vibe. As a team we are so unique in that we really go above and beyond as far as dental treatment and dental care with our state-of-the-art equipment, and we’re constantly striving for exceptional service by keeping up with continuing education and training. Beth and I love what I do,” enthuses Hetrick. Skovron’s second-in-command, office manager and patient liaison Rosie Hetrick, is perhaps Heritage Dental’s most effusive fan: “I love Dr. This commitment shows itself in the palpably friendly, relaxed and caring atmosphere inside the office. Skovron also subsidizes continued education and training for employees so they remain up-to-date and their skills diversify. Skovron regularly plans group outings for her dental staff past trips have included skydiving and a painting class. Charcoal rinses and full-body barriers are employed to minimize and shield patients and practitioners from the deleterious effects of mercury exposure and the potential toxicity associated with mercury poisoning.īecause mercury is also considered toxic to the environment, Heritage Dental uses environmental filters and follows all protocol and procedures to ensure that mercury does not make its way into the sewer system.īuilding a strong and cohesive team has been critical to Heritage Dental’s success. It also specializes in the holistic practice of safe mercury removal, which protects the client and staff from mercury vapor during extraction. Holistic dentists consider root causes of a dental issue from a whole-body perspective, and they work to ensure the whole body and well-being of the patient are not adversely affected by what transpires in the dentist’s chair.Īs a holistic dentist, Skovron states that, “in our office, we use practices and procedures that take care of dental needs in the safest, most natural way possible.” Heritage Dental honors a commitment to the use of metal-free dentistry. Skovron’s drive to improve patients’ experiences in her office merged with her attentiveness to patients’ other interests and concerns, leading her to research and embrace holistic dentistry.Īccording to, “Truly holistic dentists are dentists who perform dentistry that is good for the body as well as the teeth and gums.” Holistic dentistry focuses not only on treating a problem that has cropped up in a patient’s oral care, but also on preventive measures. Heritage Dental even makes its own organic lip balm. While patients are in the dentist chair, they can put on headphones and select from a choice of soothing imagery and music. Increasingly, Skovron began to incorporate spa-like elements into her practice, elements such as an aromatherapy diffuser, massage chairs throughout the office, warm towels and lotions, nutrient-rich snacks and herbal teas. “My concept was to create a completely different environment-one that didn’t feel at all like a dentist’s office,” says Skovron. Beth Skovron’s inquisitive, scientific mind and compassionate heart, compelled by the desire to create a dental office unlike any other she had frequented. Staff members would greet co-workers and patients with a radiant conviviality.įortunately, innovative imagination can become reality, as evidenced by Heritage Dental, in Montgomeryville. Nestled in the corner would be the deep, inviting cushion of a leather massage chair. KIND bars would sit next to a Keurig, perched atop a hotel-style mini-fridge housing exotic, bottled iced teas. Imagine if a state-of-the-art dentistry practice had a lovechild with a holistic spa: the light aroma of peppermint and cloves would waft pleasantly though the air as the soft whir of a nearby air purifier commingled with the ongoing susurrus produced by gentle cascades of a zen waterfall. On October 8th, 2020, in a r/MountainDew Reddit post, a user named " xAn0nymouSx" posted a photograph of a test bottle of Major Melon.Instead of having a black background like the existing Mountain Dew Zero Sugar offerings, Energised No Sugar Major Melon has a grey background, more like Diet Mountain Dew. In September 2022, Major Melon was released with Energised No Sugar branding. It reportedly has less sugar (17g/8oz, or about 26g/12oz) than its American and Canadian counterpart, which in the United States has 44g/12oz of sugar. In mid-2022, Major Melon was released in Honduras and sported similar packaging as its American and Canadian releases, though the flavor was renamed to "Pink Drip." This is similar to how Voltage was also renamed (as "X-Treme") for its Honduran release. Shortly after, it was reported that the Major Melon Freeze came out in Circle K locations as a Froster Freeze as a limited time release for the Summer of 2021. Later on, it would be released nationwide on February 24th, 2021. The flavor, meant to be as close to regular Major Melon as possible, without any sugar. Major Melon Zero Sugar, which was released the same time as its regular counterpart, has been sold in 20-ounce bottles and 12-packs. The advert features WWE Superstar and actor John Cena drinking Major Melon and discussing the product, bringing the larger-than-life flavor to fans nationwide. It is also available in fountain form and as a Freeze at various convenient stores such as Kum & Go and Circle K.Ī few weeks later, it was promoted in a commercial during Super Bowl LV by counting the correct number of bottles appearing on the spot. It was officially released to stores nationwide in the United States on January 4th, 2021 as a permanent flavor, and was available in various sizes such as 20-ounce bottles, 16 ounces/16.9-ounce multipack bottles, 1-liter bottles, 2-liter bottles, and 12-packs. This video reaffirmed much of the previously-leaked information for 2021 for all of the flavors previously mentioned. Two months after the leaks from August 2020, on October 8th, 2020, a leaked internal reel video surfaced on the same Dew Drinker Discord server, showing upcoming plans for the Mountain Dew brand for 2021. All of these leaks are as follows: Major Melon, alongside its Zero Sugar variant, Rise Energy, Baja Blast alongside two flavors, Baja Flash and Baja Punch, DEW-S-A, Riddler's Brew, Gingerbread Snap'd, and a re-release of Pepsi Blue. On August 4th, 2020, on the Dew Drinker Discord, information was leaked by an anonymous individual showing upcoming plans for 2021 with many flavors and new brands alike. Its tagline is " DEW Charged with Watermelon Flavor with Other Natural Flavors." Major Melon is a Watermelon flavor of Mountain Dew and has a bright red-pink look, having a comparable tasting flavor and color to that of Kickstart Hydrating Boost (Energizing Watermelon) and Flavor 648. With new characters come new quirks, and you can expect a variety to be introduced in season seven.
The third sentence therefore seems possible. However Michael Swan notes (Practical English Usage, 2005.522) "present and past tenses are also occasionally found". The time period extends up to some past time already referred to. I had been working there since I graduated from school. The past perfect simple focuses more on the completion or the result than the action itself. The past perfect helps talk about something that happened before a certain point in the past, whereas the past perfect continuous is used to talk about. When I found Susie, I could see that she had been crying. The past perfect continuous focuses more on the action itself. At that time I had been studying in London for three years. The time period extends up to the moment of speaking. Uses The past perfect continuous tense is used to talk about longer actions or situations which had continued up to the past moment that we are thinking about. I have been working there since I graduated from school. We normally use since for a time period starting at one point in time and continuing up to another the verb is normally present or past perfect. Past continuous lays emphasis on the interrupted actions, whereas past perfect continuous lays emphasis on a duration of time before something in the past. The past perfect simple suggests something more permanent than the past perfect continuous, which can imply that something is temporary. The first two are fine the third is more doubtful. Nope I don’t believe it works like that, as every phone screen presents colors differently, your iPhone13 looks different than my 12 or 11, android or whatever else, pictures on phones are never accurate representation of colors…. I would suggest trying to find a paint supplier in your area that knows what they're doing, has some employees with a bit of tenure, and that you can learn to trust with your colors (maybe 1 of the SW stores is better than the other, or maybe it's forgoing BM & SW altogether in your particular area?) Best of luck! There are certain colors that require special bases, which are not kept in stock as often as the common bases, so maybe that is BM's issue? But the color you gave did not require a special base for SW paints, so idk what the deal is.Īll this to say, I'm not sure why you're having such a difficult time, it shouldn't be this hard. Now, with experience and practice comes the ability to adjust colors if need be, but even a relatively inexperienced associate should be able to make a minor adjustment to get it closer to the color card if needed. That being said, almost all the colors we do, save for custom matches, are in a database the computer does most of the work (as you mentioned previously), and the formulas in there are usually pretty dang close. Turnover has indeed been a big issue in many places, and that can definitely cause some issues. I hate to say it but I’ve almost completely lost faith in paint stores having employees who are able to to do their job, I bought a gallon of balboa mist last week that was literally 3 shades lighter than the chip I got off the wall, granted those are both Benny moore issues, I’ve experienced literally the same issues with Sherwin…. I brought the symphony blue paint back to the store twice before they literally told me that they cannot make that color with those tints…. It’s sad… When I buy from Sherwin or Benny moore I pretty much just expect to have to adjust the paint color once I get it… in the last 2 years I’ve picked up paint from the store for different projects at least 50 times, and twice has it been correct. Where as I pick up my Ben moore or Sherwin color and I get a dot on the side of the can…. The only place I’ve had luck with actually getting colors right is my industrial supplier where i get my lacquers from, it’s crazy, I drop off a color chip, when I get my product I’m handed my original color chip and a spray out chip of my product, to show that it’s the actual color I asked for……. The paint colors I receive are hardly ever even reasonably close to the color chips they provide, the turnover of employees at the stores in my area makes it hard for me to believe that These employees are legitimately trained the way you are suggesting. I’m talking about the legitimate paint stores, there’s two different Sherwin Williams in my area and a Riccardi brothers(Benny moore) as well, they only sell paint, and can hardly make their own colors, and this has been a trend for the last few years it seems.
